Springbrook is a unique area located at an elevation of 900 metres above sea level in the mountain range behind the Gold Coast on the NSW border.

Come visit our area and see subtropical rainforests, birdlife, native wildlife and some of the most spectacular waterfalls and mountain scenery in Queensland. Springbrook is also the home of four newly discovered luminous mushrooms found by the Springbrook Research Centre.

Come during the day to experience the national parks bushwalks, waterfalls and scenery and see the wonders of glow worms and luminous fungi at night.
We suggest you bring a raincoat / poncho / umbrella just in case.

If visitors are staying for a night tour at the glow worms or the Observatory, bring a picnic dinner/BBQ as the few restaurants here don't open most nights unless prior arrangements are made.
